Service description
RVTForm provides independent Revit modelling and production support. Work is carried out using project information, instructions and source material supplied by the client.
The service covers Revit modelling, model development, project setup, model outputs and additional production capacity, as defined in the accepted quotation.
The model is produced from client-supplied information. The client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that information.
Missing, unclear or contradictory information will be referred back to the client rather than resolved by assumption.
No architectural, engineering or other regulated professional design service
RVTForm does not provide architectural design, engineering or other regulated professional design services, and does not act as the project architect, design consultant or specifier.
No architectural, technical, structural, MEP or regulatory design decisions are taken on the client’s behalf.
RVTForm does not certify designs, drawings, specifications or compliance with planning requirements, building regulations or construction standards.
Structural and MEP modelling are excluded unless separately agreed in writing.
Client responsibility
Design decisions, technical design, specifications, regulatory compliance, building-code compliance, planning requirements and engineering requirements remain with the client and its appointed professional design team.
The client remains responsible for the suitability, accuracy and completeness of the information supplied, for the professional review of outputs, and for all final project decisions.
The client retains responsibility for the professional use of the delivered model and any outputs produced from it.
Client-supplied information
RVTForm may rely on drawings, CAD files, PDFs, point clouds, survey information, existing Revit models, sketches, markups, instructions, templates and modelling standards supplied by the client.
The client confirms they have the necessary rights and permissions to provide all uploaded material.
Client source information remains the property of the client and is used only to deliver the agreed work.
Scope of work
Each project is governed by the scope set out in the accepted quotation. Final scope is defined by that quotation.
Work outside the agreed scope may require additional fees, a revised programme, or both, agreed before the work is carried out.
Prices assume the agreed source information and scope.
Fees and payment
A quotation is issued after the supplied information has been reviewed. No payment is required before the quotation is accepted.
A 50% deposit is required before production begins.
The remaining balance is required before final delivery.
Where an agreed payment is outstanding, issue or download of the final files may be withheld.
Additional work is quoted and agreed before it is carried out.
Revisions and changes
One consolidated revision round is included unless the quotation states otherwise. This covers corrections needed to meet the agreed scope.
Changes to the design, to the source information or to the scope that are requested after acceptance are treated as additional work unless the quotation states otherwise.
Additional revision rounds are chargeable.
Programme and delivery
A proposed delivery date is confirmed in writing with the quotation.
Delivery dates depend on receiving complete information and prompt responses.
Delayed client responses, late deposit payment or scope changes may affect the delivery date.
Files, software and compatibility
The client confirms the required Revit version, template, modelling standards and any interoperability requirements before work begins.
Editable source files are delivered only as listed in the quotation.
Where a titleblock, view template or office standard is required, it is supplied by the client and agreed in the quotation.
Intellectual property
Client source information, designs and project material remain the property of the client.
RVTForm retains ownership of its own pre-existing templates, tools, methods and internal working material.
Once the agreed payment for a project has been received, the client may use the delivered Revit model and agreed outputs for the purposes stated in the quotation.
RVTForm does not display client projects publicly without permission.
Confidentiality
Both parties treat the other’s project information as confidential and use it only for the purposes of the agreed work.
Project information is not shared with third parties except where needed to deliver the service (for example hosting, file storage or payment processing) or where required by law.
Project material is not published or used for marketing without written permission.
Limitation of liability
RVTForm’s liability in relation to a project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
RVTForm is not liable for design decisions, for compliance outcomes, or for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the client.
RVTForm is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination and cancellation
Either party may end a project by written notice.
Where a client cancels after work has started, work completed to that date is chargeable and the deposit is applied against it.
Where the required information is not supplied, or the agreed scope cannot reasonably proceed, RVTForm may pause or end the work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version applying to a project is the one accepted with its quotation.
